GDPR and Samsung Knox solutions

Under GDPR, the pressure on business to protect and secure data will be greater than ever. Samsung understands the need for workers to stay agile, whilst being confident that their data is safe. We have developed a range of solutions to ensure that wherever you or your team are working, everything you write, share, and manage is secure.

Knox platform Arrow Right

Samsung’s built-in, on-device security

Under GDPR, a data breach is not only worrying in itself, but can attract large fines and reputational damage. Most Samsung devices have the layered Knox platform built into their hardware and software, performing multiple checks to protect against devices being compromised.

Knox Platform for Enterprise Arrow Right

Enterprise solution to secure company data on mobile devices

Under GDPR IT staff accessing personal data, even unintentionally, could be a GDPR breach. Knox Platform for Enterprise’s Workspace keeps business and personal data separately secured on mobile devices – with encryption keys built into hardware, adding an additional level of protection. IT admins can remotely manage the data they need to see, without getting into users’ private content.

Samsung mobile solutions are designed to help businesses address the requirements of GDPR and be easy to implement. Our solutions make upgrading and managing your mobile assets simple, safe and secure.

Knox Configure Arrow Right

Manage your business data faster and more securely

With GDPR requiring business data to be more stringently protected, Knox Configure makes mobile data protection and management easier to achieve. IT admins can remotely configure 100s of devices at once, and tailor them to specific business needs.

Knox Mobile Enrollment Arrow Right

Protect and enroll thousands of devices efficiently over the air

Under GDPR it will be vital that all mobile devices are secured at all times. Knox Mobile Enrollment allows for thousands of corporate devices to be quickly enrolled into an EMM. Once IT has registered a device, the end user needs to simply turn on their phone and connect to Wi-Fi or 3G/4G during set-up. Once enrolled, these devices cannot be tampered with.

Samsung’s secure management enables IT admins to manage devices over-the-air, ensuring that device integrity and security software are always up to date.

Knox Manage Arrow Right

Cloud-based command across multiple devices and operating systems

Under GDPR, any data loss, from any source could be a breach. For organizations managing a fleet of devices, securing them all against security threats is key. Knox Manage is a low-cost, cloud-based EMM enabling multiple devices and operating systems to be managed remotely.

IT admins can manage Android, iOS, Windows and Samsung devices via a cloud-based command centre. This enables greater control over confidential data and protection for employees against unintended leaking.

Knox Enterprise Firmware-Over-The-Air (E-FOTA) Arrow Right

Keep employee devices up-to-date and secure from a distance

GDPR requires all data by organisations to be safe and secure. Knox Enterprise Firmware Over-The-Air gives businesses direct control of OS and security updates on employee devices, with no need for end-users to be involved. Updates can be scheduled at convenient times (e.g. overnight), and automatic updates can be pre-set.
