We are excited to share the past month's release highlights, upcoming releases and features, and content highlights of July 2021.

 

Release highlights

  1. Knox Manage (KM) v21.7 released on July 6, 2021
  2. KM v21.8 release planned on August 25, 2021
  3. KM Product Update Webinar: August 24, 2021 at 10:00am CEST To join our session you need to register in advance by following this link
  4. Knox Cloud Services (KCS) v1.40 release planned on August 25, 2021
  5. Enterprise Edition (EE) Customers will not be able to generate EE Legacy License from August 1, 2021
  6. Knox Platform for Enterprise (KPE) license is free of charge since July 1, 2021
  7. Knox Capture (KCAP) Support for more devices to be added in next release (end of July): XCover 4S, Tab Active Pro, S20, S21

  • Existing EE customers are recommended to migrate to Knox E-FOTA as soon as possible. Knox E-FOTA can be provided for the rest of their device lifecycle. KE on MDM can be used only until its End of Service (Jul. 31, 2022)
  • New EE customers can use Knox E-FOTA included in Knox Suite

  • Premium security and management features are free with KPE
  • Changes to license policies for Knox Browser and Custom Animation features
  • Change existing Knox Suite licenses to KPE licenses
  • Remote power off for devices
  • Lock Disconnected Devices
