On August 17, 2022 PDT, the Knox Partner Program is expanding its scope to include Knox Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Knox Deployment Program (KDP) device resellers as part of a beta release. All enterprises providing these services for their customers are welcome to join!

The Knox Partner Program is Samsung’s ecosystem of B2B initiatives and services for our enterprise partners, and is designed to assist businesses with customer outreach and growth by providing training, technical support, marketing, and assistance with sales activities.

Partners enrolled in the Knox Partner Program can access the Knox MSP Portal and KDP (Reseller) Portal directly from the Knox Partner Program portal and are offered additional benefits¹ such as online and offline training sessions, monthly webinars, and marketing assets.

What is the Knox Partner Program?

The Knox Partner Program was created to provide independent solution vendor (ISV) and enterprise mobility management (EMM) partners with the resources needed to design innovative business solutions for Samsung smartphones, tablets, and wearables. It leverages the Knox platform’s features of elevated security, manageability, and productivity, and the Knox SDK’s resources for device optimization. In the course of the evolution of our enterprise ecosystem, we have added Samsung accessory partners to the Knox Partner Program, enabling them to create device accessories that not only have additional capabilities, but are also tightly integrated with Samsung devices for business use. Today, we are extending the benefits of the Knox Partner Program to our MSP and KDP partners with the same goals and principles — supporting our partners’ needs, and helping their businesses grow.

What additional benefits¹ does the Knox Partner Program provide?

The Knox Partner Program aims to help partners improve customer service, provide Knox managed services, and aid with business growth through the many benefits¹ it offers. Here are some highlights of the benefits you can receive:

Training and webinars

• Single Sign On (SSO) access to Samsung B2B product and solution courses in the Samsung Business Academy² (SBA) with no additional registration required.
• Invitations to monthly webinars dedicated to educating MSPs on how to provide Knox managed services.
• Invitations to monthly webinars about Samsung devices and Knox solutions.
• Opportunities for 1-on-1 technical training with Samsung product specialists.

Marketing assets

• Access to a marketing toolkit that allows you to quickly create your own Knox managed services microsite or add a Samsung Knox page to your website.
• Access to the Samsung MSP partner logos (only available to select MSPs).

Sales

• Option to be listed in the SamsungKnox.com Reseller Directory and MSP Directory.
• Opportunities to engage and manage sales leads submitted by customers from SamsungKnox.com.
• Access to the latest sales resources and materials (sales playbook, product flyer, and so on).

Technical support

• Technical support through the Samsung Ticketing system.
• Opportunities to purchase Partner Technical Support (PTS) and obtain a free tier upgrade³ to PTS Elite.

How do I join the Knox Partner Program?

Existing MSP super admins and KDP (Reseller) portal users have the option to transition their account to the Knox Partner Program after signing in to the My Knox dashboard at SamsungKnox.com. Click the Knox MSP Portal or Reseller Portal card and agree to the Knox Partner Program Partner Agreement and Terms and Conditions to complete the transition. No additional registration is required. Once you join the Knox Partner Program, you will automatically become a registered MSP or KDP partner.

Partners who do not wish to partake in the beta are welcome to decline the invitation prompt that appears after logging into SamsungKnox.com. These partners will automatically transition to the Knox Partner Program after the program fully launches in early 2023.

Once you join to the Knox Partner Program beta, you will only be able to launch the Knox MSP Portal/KDP (Reseller) Portal through the Knox Partner Program portal.

What will happen to my managed customers and devices in the Knox MSP Portal or KDP (Reseller) Portal if I join the Knox Partner Program?

Joining the Knox Partner Program only changes how you access the Knox MSP Portal/KDP (Reseller) Portal. After making the transition, the access point for both portals is migrated from SamsungKnox.com to partner.samsungknox.com. Your existing MSP or KDP account, including managed customers and device data, will remain unchanged.

Can I continue to access the Knox MSP Portal/KDP (Reseller) Portal from SamsungKnox.com after August 17?

Yes, you can continue to access the Knox MSP Portal/KDP (Reseller) Portal from SamsungKnox.com until the program fully launches in early 2023. After that, all existing Knox MSP Portal/KDP (Reseller) Portal users will be automatically migrated to the Knox Partner Program as Partners, and will only be able to launch the Knox MSP Portal/KDP (Reseller) Portal through the Knox Partner Program at partner.samsungknox.com. We encourage and welcome all MSP and KDP partners to join the Knox Partner Program early, starting from August 17.
