For IT and security teams, staying on top of device lifecycle information is critical—but it isn't always simple.

Information about OS availability, security patch schedules, and device support timelines is often spread across multiple resources. As device fleets grow, manually tracking these details can become time-consuming and increase the risk of missing important updates.

To help simplify device lifecycle management, Samsung Knox is introducing a new Security dashboard within the Unified Service Platform (USP). The dashboard brings device lifecycle and security information into one place, making it easier to monitor your fleet, identify devices that need attention, and stay informed about upcoming changes.

Previously, admins often had to visit multiple websites to check device support information and Security Maintenance Release (SMR) details. With the Security dashboard, you can view key lifecycle and security information directly within USP, including:

Having this information in a single dashboard helps reduce the time spent searching for updates and gives teams a more efficient way to manage device lifecycle planning.

Identify devices that require attention

Understanding device status is one thing. Knowing where to take action is another. The Security dashboard provides easy-to-read insights that help IT teams quickly identify devices that may need attention, such as:

  • Devices that have reached EOL
  • Devices that are not running the latest Security Patch Level
  • Devices affected by changes to security patch cadence

With this, IT admins can leverage EOL dates and security patch cadences to anticipate device refreshes and strategize budgets effectively.

Admins can also set up email notifications for key lifecycle events, helping them stay informed and respond proactively without manually monitoring device status.

Try the Security dashboard today

Whether you're planning device refresh cycles, monitoring security patch compliance, or simply looking for a more efficient way to manage device lifecycle information, the Security dashboard provides a centralized place to stay informed and take action.
